Piet Mondriaan is one of my recently favorite Dutch painter, especially his works after 1920’s. I am very much enjoying he playing with lines, squares and color, and creating visual spaces. Calder, in the other hand, was looking for spatial balance, playing with materials and little color elements. Move and stability reach subtly, and the whole balance has been extended spatially by the changing directions and different components. I really fall for it. Luckily, I had the opportunity to see their works.
